Falconeri's AW 21/22 collection explores a calm and relaxed lifestyle and introduces a series of impeccable and sophisticated designs as an expression of effortless elegance.
The welcoming and peaceful aesthetics of hygge philosophy, where the Scandinavian art of the slow life reigns, gives the Falconeri Autumn/Winter 2021-22 collection its shape. Soft, enveloping garments symbolising everyday style are at the same time precious and made of 100% pure cashmere. Sublime, contemporary elegance is expressed through the use of the finest raw materials.
The comfortable yarns, fine cashmere construction and sophisticated colour palette almost invite you on an inner journey, to regain awareness of the here and now, often forgotten by the hectic pace of everyday life.
A must-have in every collection is ultralight cashmere, the company's trademark yarn, which has been newly revamped with practical and versatile fits. Oversized jumpers, soft and enveloping sweatshirts and jumpers with check inlays or woven textures with a boyish charm, are all designed for a more relaxed approach to daily life; one in which clothing protects and shields us from the frenzy of the outside world. Extremely warm, they boast a palette of very stylish, buttery tones.
Comfort does not mean renouncing femininity. The collection offers a graceful approach to new femininity that is expressed through the garments with a chic result, including inlays of jacquard flowers enriched with light lamé and other exquisite details. Soft, romantic jumpers come in warm, enveloping hues such as vanilla and alabaster, and are detailed with graphic floral inserts.
For winter, the brand renews its ultra-soft cashmere, which is given a new, even softer and more enveloping feel to make crewnecks, polo necks and two new cardigans. The yarn is sumptuously comfortable, and the new garment-dyed version is extremely soft.
The new, laidback mood continues outdoors, with the down jacket reconfirming itself as the must-have item of the season. Falconeri revisits its design codes, launching a new luxury version. There is also the reversible sleeveless jacket in cashmere and technical, water-repellent fabric – a go-anywhere, do-anything staple – as well as new items such as the reversible bomber jacket with one side in ultra-soft ribbed cashmere, or the long version with cashmere inserts. The hooded down jacket with logo lettering is also new, offering a versatile, practical look that nods to street style: oversized, shaped and extremely cool.
The collection's palette is made up of a series of sophisticated shades such as alabaster, rum and light vanilla: delicate and timeless, they are perfect for combining together. Alongside these soft colours, Falconeri proposes a series of more intense shades. Green and light blue are the key players, in shades of golf green, forest green, peacock, skyline and light blue, which feature on jumpers and crewnecks. Then there is magenta, amaranth, red oak, tea rose and light rum, all warm and enveloping colours, simply perfect for winter.
